Natural newborn sessions are the heart & soul of The Tiny Studio. There is nothing like the feeling in the room during a newborn session. You can quite literally feel the love filling up the space.

During our morning at the studio I’ll guide you through my flow of natural newborn poses while also capturing all the candid moments and zooming in on the tiniest details. We’ll capture the little features you love so much: flakey skin, furrowed brows, tiny fingers and toes, and the way they cuddle into you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Schedule your newborn session during your second or third trimester to avoid last minute rush! I’ll reserve your due date and schedule your session once baby arrives.

    If your baby is already here I’ll do my best to get you in as soon as possible, but I can’t guarantee availability.

    Newborn sessions are best when baby is 1-3 weeks old.

  • You’ll receive a preview gallery one week after your session with all the best images. From there, select 20 favorites for a final edit. Detail shots are complementary and don’t count towards your image total. I also include a set of small prints - shipped directly to your door.

    Your favorite images are professionally retouched to ensure the highest quality!

  • Neutrals and earth tones photograph beautifully in the space. I’ll send over a styling guide with lots of inspiration!

    You don’t need to provide outfits for your baby. If you have a special outfit, blanket, or item from home you’d like to include in the photos, I’d be happy to incorporate it!

  • Absolutely! Capturing your connection is my highest priority. We’ll take a combination of posed and candid photos.
